Been here multiple times over the years. This location has always had great and friendly service every single time I've been here. They have a lighter tasting pho broth but with all the fixings. They provided me with a delicious chilli oil upon request. One of my favourite dishes is the lotus root salad (goi ngo sen). It's light and sweet and always fresh. Recently we arrived as a group of 7 for lunch and were pleasantly greeted. They cooked the food quickly and our dishes didn't come out too staggered despite the large group.
Delicious Vietnamese food with a focus on seafood. There are a number of recommended specials listed on a white board on the wall, which makes a useful guide to the best things on the menu.
First time at the Gerrard location. Same quality as the Queen East location but the menu is slightly different. Our server was very nice and we had a great time. Portion size is large and delicious.
A small, warm, laidback (comfy) restaurant. A lovely menu with some rare options. I return time and again for the mussels. The broth is SO DELICIOUS that I order rice noodles on the side to sop up every last drop. Attentive waitress. Food is freshly made to order. Prices are reasonable. Pls go visit. You’ll love their food
Good spot for Vietnamese food on east south side of downtown. I had rare/well done beef pho and fresh shrimp roll. One thing to note is that they serve fish sauce instead of peanut sauce for fresh roll - hope this is changed. Server was really friendly and attentive.
Best Pho in town. I've been coming here for over 15 years, and it's still my favorite. Small and rather cramped little place, but the service is good and the food excellent.
**Update Great place! Made my rating go from 4 to 5! Drink menu is much appreciated! Good food, small and cozy place. Staff is not the best at English but it's not an issue. Only thing I would suggest is to make it more clear what drinks they have.
This unassuming neighbourhood "hole in the wall" is arguably one of the best Vietnamese restos in the city. Casual dining, nothing fancy - all the focus is on the food and it shows. Aromatic lemongrass oil-infused soups and full-bodied flavours slows me down from giving new Viet spots a try. And every dish had a vegan option! Also wheelchair accessible.
